13th June: Clay Pigeon Practice Day

First time at Clay Pigeon, improving from 41.6s to 39.6s with strong lap-by-lap consistency.
Alfie completed his first ever practice day at Clay Pigeon on 13 June 2026, adding another important circuit to his early owner-driver development programme.
The day started with Alfie learning the track from scratch, with his first session beginning around the 41.6-second mark. Across the day, he steadily built confidence, improved his lines and continued reducing his lap times, ending the day with a best lap of 39.6 seconds.
That improvement alone was a strong step forward, leaving him only 1.9 seconds away from the pace-setting drivers, who were all far more experienced at the circuit and in the class.
More importantly, the Alfano lap data showed a very positive pattern. Alfie was not simply finding one isolated quick lap — his laps were becoming more consistent session by session, with times often within tenths of each other. That consistency is an important sign of control, repeatability and genuine learning.
For a first day at Clay Pigeon, the session showed exactly what the 2026 programme is designed to build: new circuit experience, steady improvement, better race preparation and the foundations of reliable lap-by-lap performance.
